One of the highlights of The Copper Chimney is its diverse menu, which features a wide range of dishes from across India. The restaurant is known for its flavorful tandoori meats, fresh seafood, and vegetarian options that cater to various tastes. The tandoori dishes are particularly popular, with the chicken tikka being a standout. Marinated in a blend of yogurt and spices, then grilled to perfection, it offers a smoky, tender bite that’s hard to beat.

If you’re in the mood for something spicy, their lamb rogan josh is an absolute must-try. This dish is rich with aromatic spices and slow-cooked lamb, creating a perfect balance of heat and flavor. For those who prefer milder dishes, the butter chicken offers a creamy, comforting option that’s both indulgent and satisfying. The use of fresh ingredients, combined with skillful preparation, ensures that every dish is bursting with flavor.

Vegetarians are well-catered for at The Copper Chimney, with dishes like the paneer tikka and dal makhani offering satisfying options. The paneer tikka is especially noteworthy, with the grilled cheese cubes marinated in aromatic spices and served with a side of tangy mint chutney. The dal makhani, a rich lentil dish cooked to perfection, provides the perfect accompaniment to any meal, balancing out the stronger flavors of the tandoori dishes.

Accompanying these dishes is a selection of freshly baked naan and soft, fluffy rice. The naan is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, making it ideal for scooping up the rich gravies and sauces. And don’t forget to try their biryani, which is loaded with fragrant basmati rice and tender meat or vegetables, making it a satisfying and filling option for any diner.

For dessert, The Copper Chimney offers traditional Indian sweets that are the perfect way to end your meal. The gulab jamun, sweet dough balls soaked in syrup, are a favorite, offering a sugary-sweet finish that’s simply irresistible. Another popular choice is the rasgulla, soft spongy balls of cheese soaked in a sweet syrup, offering a light and refreshing end to the meal.

Very authentic Indian restaurant not far from Forest Mall. Food is good, especially during the Sunday buffet (40k adults) where you can try veg and non veg starters from tandur, mane course dishes and sweets. Good view on the sports area where you can see crickets.

Just overlooking the cricket oval is this lovely eatery. With such a diverse menu, Indian cuisine was my favourite. The food as tasty and served with nice presentation. Though the place is quite hidden and has limited parking, it creates nice cacoon for dinners both inside and outside settings. This experience was even made better with the real rabbits running around the floor. It's a must try.
